Camden Yards, the Bromo Seltzer Tower, the Inner Harbor and Fort McHenry: what is underneath a lap of M&T Bank Stadium.

M&T Bank Stadium opened in 1998 and shares its parking lots with Oriole Park at Camden Yards next door — the ballpark that started every retro stadium built since, with the B&O warehouse, 1,100 feet long, standing behind right field. North-west the Bromo Seltzer Tower still carries a clock face with letters instead of numbers. East is the Inner Harbor and the National Aquarium, with Federal Hill looking down over the water and the Domino Sugars sign on the south shore.

Further out sits Fort McHenry, where in 1814 the sight of the flag still flying after a night of bombardment gave Francis Scott Key the words to the American national anthem.
