South Africa vs New Zealand Test 2026 · Johannesburg · 22 August 2026
Ellis Park is where South Africa won the 1995 World Cup final, beating New Zealand 15–12 after extra time, with Mandela in a Springbok jersey handing the cup to Francois Pienaar. The ground sits in Doornfontein on the eastern edge of the city centre. West of it the skyline is Johannesburg’s own: the Carlton Centre, 50 storeys and the tallest building in Africa for nearly 50 years; Ponte City, a hollow concrete cylinder 54 floors high with an open core all the way down; and the Hillbrow Tower, 269 m, finished in 1971. Beyond the M2 lie the mine dumps — the city has no river and no coast, and exists purely because gold was found here in 1886.

Tap the screen, or press the space bar, and your jetpack fires. Let go and gravity takes it back. That is the whole flight model — how high you get and how long you stay there both come out of how often you tap. To move across the line, press A and D, drag sideways with a finger, or tilt your phone.
The number in the top corner is your clearance: how close you came to the roof of the stadium as you crossed it. Lower is better, because that is the entire point of a flypast. Under twelve metres is where it starts to get interesting.
Gold rings sit along the route — sixty points through the outside, a hundred and fifty for the inner ring, three hundred for a bullseye, which also builds a combo up to three times. Once a lap a line of blue rings takes you seventy metres up and over, and everything scores double up there. Player jerseys and real pieces of history float on the circuit; fly through one and it stays in your collection on this device.
Seagulls. A single one you can dodge; a flock is too wide to go around, so go over or under it. Fly long enough and the light goes, the floodlights come up and the rain arrives. From the second lap on, each lap sets you a challenge worth between fifteen hundred and twenty-five hundred points.
